Where Order Trembles

This series explores the pull between instinct and control, using ancient Trypillia symbols to show how cultural memory survives, even when others try to erase it. It’s about the bravery passed down through generations, even when forgetting seemed safer.

Nature’s Echo

The separation between human and nature isn't biological, it's constructed. This series examines where that boundary was drawn, and what it costs to maintain it.

Roots run deep, even when we're far

The art series was inspired by my personal experience of moving from Ukraine to Canada. It conveys the idea that our cultural ties remain strong, even when we're physically separated from our origins, exploring how we connect with our heritage in a new environment.

Intangible

Intangible is a series that revolves around the idea of observation. What can't be named still exists. This series works in the territory where language hasn’t yet caught up.

The air never learned how to be

Air doesn't try to be anything. It doesn't optimize, improve, or adapt on purpose. This series reflects on how elements exist without trying to be, unlike humans who are always striving to learn and improve themselves.

Project "The Body Got Lost"

Explore a fusion of macro images capturing my paintings and vivid digital illustrations, reflecting on the metamorphosis of corporeality in the post-Covid era. Delving into the socio-cultural facets of corporeality, this series contemplates the impact of societal dictates and the transformative nature of adaptation, manifested through masks rendering bodies translucent. The project engages in a dialogue with artists and curators, unraveling the multifaceted dimensions of corporality in art - be it provocation, expression, sincerity, or research.

The project "The Body Got Lost" was supported by the European Union through the program House of Europe.
