Most people walk past the same buildings every day without asking why they were built, who they were built for, and who they belong to now.
This is not a tour where you observe from a distance. You become part of an active cultural thought process, and without you, it wouldn't be the same.
Join Kateryna Kobylianska, a Montreal-based artist with a background in cultural studies, originally from Ukraine, for a 2-hour walk through Old Montreal and its gallery district. We'll step inside spaces most visitors rush past, meet the people behind them, and look at art, architecture, and culture the way an artist does: with curiosity, and the kind of questions that stay with you.
Along the way: a bank turned creative hub, galleries that couldn't be more different from each other, indigenous art that carries centuries of memory, and a city that keeps rewriting itself without erasing its past.
